In a “big step” for the company, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship team won the Space Apps 2015 with a telemetry system for the International Space Station.
During this weekend the team formed by Jonathan Hernandez, Claudio Baeza and Angelo Cares, participated with great success in the third edition of the competition organized by NASA, Open Street Map Chile Wikimedia Chile (Wikipedia).
At the meeting that was held at the San Joaquin campus of the Federico Santa María Technical University in the Metropolitan Region, attended an elite group of developers who collaborated, shared and competed for more than 36 hours for the recognition that will allow them to represent our country on the world stage in the same competition.
Finally, the Initt team won first place in the “HUMAN” category and won one of the two places in the overall category with a web-based application that allows you to monitor and analyze real-time vital signs of the International Space Station (ISS).
To Cares who is also the CEO of Initt this shows “the specialization of our company in the area of software for telemetry and gives us great pride to have been able to demonstrate the effectiveness of our technologies taking them into the space,” adding that “We are focused on be leaders in innovative technology development in Chile and Latin America”
The next step is to represent Chile in the global competition in May this year, through which Initt is trying to position itself as one of Latin America’s leading software company for telemetry.
